About Jordan Adison

Jordan Adison is a loving grandmother, entrepreneur, and retired professional whose belief in the power of faith, love, and encouragement inspired her journey as an author.

At the heart of Jordan’s writing is a simple desire: to help children know that they are never alone. She believes some of the most meaningful lessons we give young people are the ones they can carry with them when parents, grandparents, and caregivers cannot physically be by their side.

That belief became deeply personal through her relationship with her grandson, Bristo Nathaniel White. Jordan wanted to continue giving him good guidance, helping him make wise choices, and reminding him of God’s presence wherever life might take him. That love became the inspiration for Pocket Prayers for Youth.

Through her writing, Jordan hopes to give children simple, meaningful ways to turn to God during the moments that matter, whether they are facing a difficult choice, feeling nervous at school, struggling with anger, or simply needing reassurance.

For Jordan, this is more than a book. It is a grandmother’s love transformed into a lasting gift of faith.

Help a Young Heart Grow in Faith

Give a child simple prayers for the moments when they need courage, guidance, comfort, or simply a reminder that God is near.

What Inspires My Work

Every prayer and lesson I share begins with one purpose: helping young hearts build a foundation of faith they can carry into everyday life.

Prayer doesn’t need to be complicated. I want children to understand that they can talk to God about the things they experience every day, from nervous test days and difficult choices to fear, anger, and uncertainty.

The lessons children learn today can stay with them for years to come. My hope is to plant small seeds of faith that grow into confidence, courage, and a lifelong relationship with God.

Every child deserves to feel loved, protected, and supported. I want my words to remind young readers that even when life feels uncertain, they are never alone and can always turn to God.

Faith becomes meaningful when children can connect it to their own experiences. Making good choices, being honest, controlling anger, showing respect, and facing fear are everyday opportunities to put faith into action.

Pocket Prayers for Youth began with the love I have for my grandson, but its message reaches beyond one child. I hope every young reader who opens these pages finds guidance they can carry long after they close the book.
